Mallory's Green Fingered Gardeners Win Gold
Mallory Court Hotel, part of the Eden Hotel Collection, is widely renowned for the cuisine of Michelin starred Chef Simon Haigh and for the beauty and comfort of the hotel but a recent award has added an ornamental edge to their existing accolades.
‘Heart of England in Bloom’ judges have added another string to the Warwickshire hotel’s bow, rewarding the skill and dedication of Mallory Court’s gardening team with a gold award for their stunning landscaped grounds.
The judges conducted a tour of Leamington, beginning at Jephson Gardens, to hunt down the town’s most beautiful blooms. The judges scrutinised both domestic residences and commercial properties to find the best of the many captivating floral displays.
Set in ten acres of wonderfully landscaped grounds, including croquet lawns, ornamental ponds, rose gardens and herbaceous borders, it is hardly surprising that Mallory caught the eyes of the judges who felt it deserved a gold award in the hotels and guest homes category.
Chris Holdsworth, Group Head Gardener for Eden Hotel Collection said,
‘I am proud and pleased that my team has been recognised by the judges. We work extremely hard to make sure that Mallory’s grounds are at their most beautiful for our guests who always comment on how much they enjoy them’.
