  • Staying with us

    What time can I check into my room?
    Check in time is 3.00pm.  Should you require early access please contact the hotel directly.

    What time is check out?
    Check out time is 11.00am.

    Do you have family bedrooms at the hotel?
    We have a number of bedrooms within the Manor house that can accommodate both adults and children within the hotel, as well as our two bedroom family suite.  Please contact the hotel directly to discuss your requirements. Children up to the age of 12 years can be accommodated in parents’ room on an extra bed at the cost of £35.00 per night, inclusive of breakfast. A cot is available at a charge of £15.00 per night. No child residents under the age of 16 should be left alone in a bedroom. Your children remain the sole responsibility of you as guardian or parent.

    Are dogs allowed in the hotel and in the bedrooms?
    We have a limited number of dog friendly bedrooms within the Manor House only. Please contact the hotel directly in advance of arrival to ensure that we have a dog-friendly room available if required. Charges apply. Dogs are not permitted in the indoor public spaces, but can explore the 10 acres of gardens and grounds within the estate.

    Where are the standard bedrooms located?
    Our standard bedrooms are located on the first floor of the Knights Suite building, adjacent to the manor house.  The bedrooms are simple and classic in design, with ensuite bathroom.

     

    Is service charge included?
    A discretionary service charge of 7.5% will be added to residents final bill accounts. For non-resident guests visiting us for afternoon tea, dinner and spa treatments and spa days, a service charge of 10% will be added to the final bill. It is company policy that 100% of this charge is passed directly and equally on to all our team, to ensure our teams are rewarded for their commitment. Our teams are encouraged not to accept gratuities during your stay, and we would ask that you are not offended if they decline any kind gestures.

  • Restaurant and Dining

    What time is breakfast served?
    Monday – Friday, continental and full English breakfast will be available in the Dining Room from 7.30am – 10.00am.
    Saturday and Sunday, continental and full English breakfast will be available in the Dining Room from 8.00am – 10.30am.

    Is there a dress code for the hotel and Dining room?
    Smart casual attire is required throughout the entire property. In the fine dining restaurant, no leisure wear or trainers are permitted. Robes are permitted in the spa facility only.

    Is there a bar within the hotel?
    Hotel guests and residents can enjoy drinks within our lounges and outside on the terrace.

    Is there more than one restaurant at the hotel?
    The hotel boasts a 3AA rosette fine dining restaurant offering a Five course Taste of the Season menu and A La Carte menu each evening, and traditional Afternoon tea daily. A light supper menu is also available daily in the Orchard House Cafe.

     

  • Elan Spa

    Is spa access included if you are resident in the hotel?
    Two hours of spa facility use is only included within our overnight spa breaks. Residents are be able to book 1-hour pool access complimentary when booking a 55-minute treatment. If guests do not require treatments, they can book 1-hour facility use at £15.00 per person, or 2-hour facility use at £25.00 per person. Facility use must be pre-booked prior to arrival.

    Can children use the swimming pool?
    Children’s Pool Access – Children under 4 are not permitted to use the pool. Children aged 4 – 16 must be accompanied by parents at all times. Family pool access is between 7.30am – 9.00am and 5.00pm – 6.30pm. 1-hour family pool access must be pre-booked and will be charged at £15.00 per adult and £7.50 per child.

    How far away is the Orchard House building?
    Orchard house is a separate building to the Manor house, including 12 bedrooms, the Orchard House Café and all of our spa facilities.  It is located 250m from the Manor house itself.
