Pack a picnic, grab your poop bags and hit the trail on one of our top three scenic, isolated dog walks…

1. Chesterton Windmill, Warwickshire

Offering plenty of free space for your dogs to let off some steam, the walk to the Grade I listed, 17th century Chesterton Windmill offers views across the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. This one-mile walk begins on Windmill Hill Lane (just a four minute drive from Mallory Court or a one hour walk), from where you can directly access the flat grassy footpath leading up to Chesterton Windmill and back.

2. Ufton Fields Nature Reserve, Leamington Spa

Wander through an array of different habitats from pools and marshes to woodland and grassland, on this circular waymarked 1.25 mile trail. Designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest in 1972, this isolated walk through Ufton Fields Nature Reserve is just a ten minute drive away from our hotel and will offer plenty of new sights and smells for your pooch to explore.

3. Old Saxon Mill Circular, Warwick

This two-mile circular walk offers a gentle, scenic stroll for you and your four-legged friend. Beginning at the dog-friendly Saxon Mill pub (a twelve minute car journey from Mallory Court Hotel and Spa), you’ll cross over the rushing weir of the River Avon via the footbridge and head east across fields.

Follow the footpaths that lead along the river towards Milverton and past the historic Guy’s Cliffe House, of which the ruins of this Grade II listed building date back to 1751. Once you reach the outskirts of Milverton, follow the path directing you to Old Milverton before returning back to your starting place at the working water mill.
